This privacy policy describes how Milloz ("we", "our", or "us") handles your information when you use the Milloz Speedo Lite Android application (the "App").

TL;DR: Speed data stays on your device. We don't collect, store, or share your location or speed data. AdMob may show interest-based ads as described below.

1. Information We Collect

a. Location / Speed Data

The App uses GPS to calculate your current speed. All GPS and speed data is processed entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or have any access to your location history, routes, or speed logs. Once you close the App, this data is discarded.

b. Advertising (AdMob)

The App displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process certain device information to serve relevant ads, including:

  • Device model and operating system version
  • Advertising ID (resettable by the user in Android settings)
  • General location (coarse, not precise GPS)
  • App usage data for ad frequency capping

c. Crash Reporting

The App uses Flutter's built-in error handling to log unexpected crashes. These logs contain technical information (device model, OS version, stack trace) and are used solely to diagnose and fix bugs. No personally identifiable information is included.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above only for:

  • Displaying speed — GPS data is used in real-time to show your current speed on the gauge
  • Serving ads — AdMob uses device data to show relevant advertisements
  • Improving the App — Crash logs help us identify and fix issues

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to operate the App:

  • Google AdMob — for serving advertisements (see Section 1b)
  • Google Play Services — for app distribution and updates

4. Data Retention

Speed and location data exists only in the device's memory while the App is running and is discarded when the App is closed or the tracking session ends. No data is stored persistently on-device or on any server.

5. Permissions

The App requests the following Android permissions:

ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION

Required for GPS-based speed calculation

ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION

Fallback for approximate location

ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION

Enables speed tracking when the screen is off

FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION

Required on Android 14+ for foreground location service

WAKE_LOCK

Prevents the device from sleeping during active tracking

These permissions are used exclusively for the App's core functionality. You can revoke any permission at any time through your device settings, though doing so may affect the App's ability to function.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
