Milloz Launcher Lite

Last updated: July 09, 2026

🔒 Overview

Milloz Launcher Lite is a fully offline desktop application that runs locally on your Windows device. We have designed it with your privacy as a core principle — the app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.

✅ Zero data collection. Milloz Launcher Lite has no analytics, no telemetry, no network activity, and no cloud dependency. Everything stays on your device.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. Milloz Launcher Lite operates entirely offline and does not communicate with any remote servers, APIs, or third-party services.

Local Data Only (stored on your device):

  • Program list: Names, paths, and categories of programs you manually add or scan — stored in a local JSON file at %LocalAppData%\Milloz-Launcher-Lite\data.json
  • Settings: Hotkey configuration, auto-start preference, and category organisation — stored in the same local JSON file
  • App icons: Cached icons extracted from your installed programs — stored in memory during the session, not persisted to disk

The app never collects:

  • ✗ Name, email, or contact information
  • ✗ IP address or location data
  • ✗ System or hardware identifiers
  • ✗ Usage statistics or analytics
  • ✗ Crash reports or diagnostic data
  • ✗ Browsing history or search queries
  • ✗ Files or document contents
2. How We Use Your Information

Since we do not collect any information, there is nothing to use. The local data stored on your device is used solely for the app's core functionality:

  • Displaying your organised program list and categories
  • Remembering your hotkey preferences and auto-start setting
  • Enabling search and filter operations within the app

This data never leaves your device.

3. Information Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer any information because we do not collect any. There are no third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or external SDKs integrated into Milloz Launcher Lite.

4. Data Storage & Security

All app data is stored locally in a JSON file at:

%LocalAppData%\Milloz-Launcher-Lite\data.json

  • Data is stored in plain-text JSON format on your local filesystem
  • No encryption is applied (data is only accessible to your user account on the same Windows device)
  • You can delete this file at any time to erase all app data and settings
  • No backups are transmitted to any cloud or remote location
5. Third-Party Services

Milloz Launcher Lite does not integrate any third-party services, analytics frameworks, advertising SDKs, or external APIs. The app operates fully offline with no network permissions required.

Open-Source Components: The app uses the .NET 8 runtime and WinForms framework (both by Microsoft). These are subject to their own licenses and privacy policies. The app does not include any other third-party libraries or dependencies.

6. Children's Privacy

Milloz Launcher Lite is not directed at children under the age of 13. Since the app does not collect any personal information from any user — regardless of age — no special data-handling measures are required. If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns, please contact us.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your privacy.

If we make material changes, we will notify you via:

  • A notice within the app's About page
  • An updated version on our website at milloz.com/applications/milloz-launcher-lite
8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data. Since Milloz Launcher Lite does not collect any personal data, these rights are inherently satisfied. However, we acknowledge the following:

  • Right to Access: All your data is already on your device — open %LocalAppData%\Milloz-Launcher-Lite\data.json
  • Right to Delete: Delete the data.json file or uninstall the app to remove all local data
  • Right to Data Portability: The JSON data file is portable — simply copy it to another device
