Brain wave computing is a newest technology avatar in which a sensor fitted inside head or outside senses brain waves (EEG, electroencephalogram waves signals from brain), amplifies it and converts to electrical signals which is often transmitted using wireless protocols like bluetooth to a interpreting device. This device interprets received signals using a complex algorithm to reach conclusions/predictions about the mental process involved which is then used to control a computer, hardware etc. From 2007, some commercial products are available using this technology which is used in sports, gaming, toys, entertainment industry, hospitality, healthcare sectors, advanced research etc.
