Here we will verify the accuracy of the Geographical/land/plot/region Area calcultor tool, usage of which is explained in this post. We will start with a small area and then go to the more spacious structures for area measurement
Let us start with Washington monument in Washington, it has a 17*17 sq meter base, so the area is 289 square meter, when measured with our tool, the area obtained is 291 square meters, we can say that its a reasonable result considering the time spent for measurement (less than a minute). Various tools available in Geographical Area Measurement Tool is expalined below.
Search for a place using "place search tool"
For marking a region use the geographical marker toolbox on top of the map. There are tools like rectangle, circle, polyline, polygrid to mark suitably
Change color of a selected region by choosing one color from color bar below

30th May 2012 Moscow: Viswanathan Anand Won the World Chess Title for another time. This is fifth time Anand is becoming FIDE World Chess champion, consecutive fourth time. After the 12 classic matches were drawn 6-6 with one white win for each player, the result was decided by tiebreaker of 4 Rapid Games. The player who wins 2.5 points in these matches will be the champion. Anand won the second rapid game with white and drew other games, to retain the title.
