Drop a PDF here, or choose a file

Everything runs in your browser. The file is never uploaded to the server.

Edit a PDF in your browser — nothing leaves your device

Remove pages, rotate pages and change text without uploading your document anywhere. Everything happens locally in your browser: no account, no queue, and no copy of your file stored on a server.

Delete pages you do not need

Remove blank scans, duplicate pages or sections you would rather not share. Deleted pages are dropped when the file is written, not just hidden.

Rotate pages in either direction

Fix sideways scans and landscape pages with one click per 90 degrees, without reprinting or re-scanning the document.

Change text in place

Switch on text editing, click any line, and type the replacement. The editor covers the old wording and draws the new text at the same position and size.

Save a new copy

Your download is a fresh PDF. The original file on your device is never modified, so you can always go back.

How to edit a PDF in three steps

  1. Drop your PDF into the box above, or choose a file from your device.
  2. Use the buttons on each page to rotate or delete it. Turn on Edit text to change existing wording.
  3. Press Save PDF. The edited document downloads straight to your device.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The document is read, edited and written by JavaScript in your browser. Nothing is sent to this site, which also means there is no copy left behind on a server.

Is the PDF editor free to use?

Yes. There is no account, no watermark, no file limit and no per-document charge.

Can I edit text that is already in the PDF?

You can replace visible text: the editor covers the original line and draws the new wording in the same place. PDF files do not store text as editable paragraphs, so the underlying text object keeps its original value.

Will my original file be changed?

Never. The edited version is written to a new file and downloaded; the file you selected stays as it was.

Does it work on a phone or tablet?

Yes. The editor is touch friendly, although long documents are easier to review on a larger screen.

What about scanned or password-protected PDFs?

Scanned pages are images, so their text cannot be selected or replaced. Documents that require a password to open have to be unlocked first.
